Dublin take on Galway in Round 4 of the Allianz Hurling League this Sunday, looking to get back to winning ways in the penultimate round of league action.
The Dubs have one win to their name so far, coming in a hard-fought match against Antrim. However, in Round 1 and Round 3, we suffered defeats against Tipperary and Limerick.
Cian O'Sullivan has been key to the Dublin forward line so far this league campaign and after three rounds of games, he has 1-21 to his name.
The Tribesmen got their league campaign off to the best possible start with a 4-31 to 0-12 win over Westmeath, with Jason Flynn and Evan Niland starring that day.
Niland would follow up on his excellent performance in the opening game of the league season with 11 points for the second game in-a-row in Galway's narrow away defeat to Tipperary in Thurles.
Henry Shefflin's men bounced back from that defeat with a 25-point win over Antrim. Flynn found the net twice, while the talented Niland was ruthless in front of the posts, hitting 16 scores in the 2-35 to 1-13 win.
Naturally, given his excellent form, Niland is one of the Galway attackers that Dublin need to keep quiet this weekend at Pearse Stadium.
Flynn will also be looking to continue his form; Thomas Monaghan, the experienced Conor Cooney and Galway captain Conor Whelan will all be looking to have a say as the men in Maroon go in search of back-to-back wins.
Alongside the threat of O'Sullivan, Dublin will look to the likes of Seán Currie & Ronan Hayes to make an impact on Sunday. Dónal Burke marked his return from a lengthy injury lay-off with five points against Limerick and will also be keen to be amongst the scorers in Salthill as he continues his comeback.
