Dublin's under-17 footballers retained the Matty Forde Invitational intercounty trophy when defeating Tyrone in last Saturday's final in the Wexford GAA Centre of Excellence in Ferns.
In the decider first half goals from James Doran, Karl Bissett, Daniel Brennan and Harry Kenny had the Dubs 4-3 to 1-0 to the good at the break as they held on to secure victory 4-7 to 1-2.
Dublin had beaten Carlow convincingly in their semi-final - 5-13 to 0-4 with Harry Ladd netting twice and Darragh Conlon, Ryan Meaney and Eoghan Joyce all also raising green flags.
In the group section Tom Gray's team enjoyed victories over Tyrone, 3-8 to 0-7, with David Lacey, James Doran and Hugh Kenny the goalscorers as well as Emmet Allen kicking some fine points, and Wexford (2-6 to 0-2) with Harry Ladd and Ryan Meaney sharing the goals.
