Dublin minor hurling manager, Johnny McGuirk, says it's time to set new targets after his side secured the Leinster MHC title last Sunday.
The young Dubs finished with a flourish, with late goals from Johnny McGuirk junior and Donal Burke, to defeat Wexford 2-12 to 0-12 and progress to an All-Ireland MHC semi-final.
“It’s a target (winning Leinster MHC) that we were looking for and we have it now,” says Johnny.
"We’ll put our heads down and get the lads ready for an All-Ireland semi-final. It’s all about winning and second place is not good enough.
“We were on the wrong side of it last year and we know what that feels like.
“We have some great young lads and with the under-21s out on Wednesday (versus Offaly), there are a lot of really good lads coming through the ranks.
“We want to be winning the All-Ireland semi-final and winning the final after that. Anything else just isn’t good enough," adds Johnny.
