James McCarthy has been declared fit ahead of Dublin's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final against Donegal in Croke Park this Saturday (6.0).
The flying Ballymun Kickhams man picked up an injury prior to the Leinster SFC final victory over Westmeath but manager Jim Gavin says he is now available for selection.
“He is available for selection,” said Jim Gavin at Wednesday's press conference.
“Obviously he hasn’t played for a few weeks, like, an inter-county game, but he is very experienced player and it is good to have him back.
“He has met all, probably was a bit ahead, of all his goals so it is just great to have him back on grass last week which is great news.”
