Friends of Dublin Hurling: Golf Classic

The time-sheet is filling up for the Friends of Dublin Hurling Golf Classic on Thursday, May 17 at Castlewarden.

Former Dublin senior manager Michael O’Grady is predicting a most enjoyable day.

“Castlewarden is a brilliant venue. The course is first-class and they have excellent all-round facilities. They look after us very well,” says Michael.

It’s the 13th Annual Golf Classic. Hurling royalty have graced the event over the years. Figures like ‘Babs’ Keating, Paul Flynn, John Connolly, George O’Connor, Johnny McCaffrey and Jimmy Gray.
