Dublin footballer Eoghan O'Gara has had his red card received in the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final downgraded to a yellow card offence after requesting a Hearing to the Central Hearings Committee.
The Templeogue Synge St man will now be eligible for Sunday week's All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Kerry in Croke Park.

An Lár Choiste Cheannais na gComórtaisí (Central Competitions Control Committee) instituted Disciplinary Action against Eoghan Ó Gadhra, alleging a breach of Riail 7.2 (b) Category III (i), that is to say “Striking with the hand”.
The player in question requested a Hearing which took place on 18ú Lúnasa. An Lár Choiste Éisteachta (Central Hearings Committee) found the Infraction not proven. However, An Lár Choiste Éisteachta found the evidence disclosed a less serious Infraction (Rough play) which warranted a yellow card.
