St. Vincents came away from O’Toole Park with the 2 points after a 1-16 to 0-13 victory over Crumlin. In a hard fought and keenly contested first half Vins got the upper hand through an Alan Moore goal with Cathal Billings and Tom Connolly also contributing good points from play to lead 1-7 to 0-8 at the break. Crumlin, led by Conor Murphy at centre back, continued to take the game to the Marino men in the second half but good defending from Jack Collins, Davy Garland as well as some excellent catches under pressure from goalkeeper Damien Russell saw Vincents run out 6 point winners.

Next up for Vins this Sunday is Lucan in their home patch, while Crumlin look to get back on track away to O'Tooles.

St Judes 1-24 Kilmacud Crokes 1-12

Jude's bounced back from the disappointment of championship defeat (8 point loss to Crumlin) to record an emphatic victory over Kilmacud Crokes on Wednesday evening in Tymon Park - both teams were without some key players due to inter county involvement and it was Judes who started brighter with two early frees from the inform Larkin who finished the day with 7 points (6 frees) Crokes responded with a goal and two points before Judes took over and a delightful goal on the stroke of half time saw them lead at the break 1-12 to 1-05.

And the scores kept coming for Judes in the second half with Sutcliffe, Joyce, Maguire and Larkin all adding to their first half tally - the expected Crokes rally never really amounted to anything and despite the dismissal of O'Beirne Judes ran out 12 point winners.

Crokes will looking to get back to winning ways this Sunday against struggling Brigids in Silver Park. Judes have a Tuesday night game against Ballyboden in Pairc Ui Murchu.

St. Brigids 2-12 O'Tooles 2-13

O'Tooles who were two wins from two in their league campaign met St Brigids who were yet to register a win from 3 league matches in Russell Park last night. O'Tooles started brighter going 5 points to 1 ahead inside the first 15 minutes with some great points from Liam Ryan and Michael Carton. Brigids came back with a great individual goal from their full forward to pull it back to within a point at the 20 minute mark. Peader Carton chipped in with a well finished goal for O'Tooles and at half time, a tight encounter saw O'Tooles lead by 1-7 o 1-4.

In the second half, Brigids looked the hungrier side and will rue letting this one get away. Cian Wilson bagged 1-1 for O'Tooles about 10 mis into the second half to put O'Tooles 5 points ahead. Brigids looked the hungrier team in the last 10 minutes and some great points got them back to within one point. However, they couldn't capitalise on their momentum and eventually time got the better of them.

Good on the day for O'Tooles were Liam Ryan at Centre Forward, Cian Wilson at corner forward, Peadar and Michael Carton and Ciaran Getgings at corner back.

Brigids have a trip to Silver Park to face Crokes this Sunday and O'Tooles welcome Crumlin to Blunden Drive.
