It was an action packed weekend for Dublin's development squad hurling teams with U14-U17 all in action.
At U17 level the Dubs lost in the final to Kilkenny, 1-11 to 1-6, in the Eugene Carey U17 Tourament in Mallow, Cork.
Earlier in the day the Dubs had beaten Wexford 3-10 to 1-8 with goals from Conall Burke, Jason Byrne and Conor O'Donoghue.
Before that they had drawn with Clare 1-13 to 0-16 with Emmet Allen firing over four points and Luke Hughes grabbing the goal.
In the Arrabawn Tournament in Tipperary the Dublin U16s defeated Meath 2-18 to 0-2 in their opening match before losing out to Cork 1-10 to 1-6 and Tipperary 5-6 to 2-11.
Dublin entered two teams in the Michael Foley U15 Leinster blitz at the Wexford GAA Centre in Ferns.
Dublin 1 topped their group by beating Meath, Antrim and Wexford 1 to progress to meet Dublin 2 in the semi-final.
Dublin 1 held sway 1-8 to 0-5 to face Kilkenny North in the final with the Cats coming out on top.
The boys in blue had many fine performers with Conor O'Brien (St Vincent's) and Kevin Byrne (Clontarf) particularly impressive.
In the U14 Tony Forristal Tournament Dublin defeated Laois 3-8 to 1-5 before losing to Galway by 3-11 to 1-5 with Colin Walsh getting a great individual goal for the Dubs.
