Kilmacud Crokes started its conversation around Mental Health and Wellbeing on the 19th March, they had a great turnout of members heard great inputs from Donal Scanlan, Emmet Haughian and Conor Cusack.
These inspirational speakers have set them on a road to openness, understanding, awareness and support as we build a positive culture around our health and wellbeing. Conor emphasised the importance of valuing every person for themselves - it's good to offer support when needed and great to support Health and Wellbeing.
On April 22nd they had Night 2 of Crokes Talks - Professor Aidan Moran gave a talk on 'Focusing for Success' which included some reflections of stresses at exam times.
There were huge numbers present on both nights and its great to see such a positive initiative at Club level.
