Six changes to senior hurling team to face Antrim

Six changes to senior hurling team to face Antrim

Fri, 2nd February 2018

Dublin have made six changes in personnel to their starting 15 for Sunday's NHL Division 1B clash with Antrim in Corrigan Park, Belfast (2.0).

There are also some positional switches following last Saturday's disappointing 2-15 to 1-15 reversal to Offaly in Croke Park in the Dubs opening game of their campaign.

Conal Keaney, who appeared as a sub against the Faithful County last weekend, will start his first intercounty match since the summer of 2015.

His inclusion is one of four alterations to the Dublin forward line with Danny Sutcliffe, Eamonn Dillon and Paul Ryan also selected to start against the Glensmen.

The other two changes are in defence where Eoghan O'Donnell and James Madden have been listed, in the rejig Cian McBride moves to midfield to partner Tomás Connolly with Chris Crummey moving from left wing-back to centre-back.

Sunday's game comes just four weeks after the counties met in the group stage of the Walsh Cup when after a slow start Dublin eventually prevailed by 4-16 to 0-17.
