Commercials did just enough to secure their first win in Go-Ahead Dublin Adult Hurling League Division 3 when edging Naomh Fionnbarra by 3-15 to 2-14 in Broombridge on Sunday morning.
A draw with Clontarf a fortnight previously was a decent start for the Rathcoole outfit and they got the upper hand thanks to 2-3 from play by Daniel O’Kelly, a Dublin minor from last year.

Clontarf also remain undefeated after two rounds as they enjoyed a 2-14 to 1-8 victory over St Maur’s at St Anne’s Park.
A Killian Keogh goal helped the hosts to a narrow three-point interval lead but the scoring returns of Sean Byrne and Tom O’Flaherty alongside a fine senior debut by Jack Higgins saw ‘Tarf home with a fair degree of comfort.
Round Towers Clondalkin delivered a fine attacking display as they finished strongly when overcoming O’Toole’s by 6-15 to 2-17 at Monastery Road.

Hot on their heels are a Good Counsel/Liffey Gaels team that scored goals at vital times when accounting for Crumlin by 2-12 to 0-12 at Galtymore Road.
The hosts benefitted from excellent displays at the back by Eoin Kirby and Adam Quin and they enjoyed a dominance at midfield through the efforts of Conor Forrestor and Shane Kirby.
Kirby chipped in with a goal to augment another from Shane Ryan with Corey Scahill (0-7) and Barry O’Reilly (0-3) also impressing for the winners.
