Dessie Farrell's Dublin are back in Dioralyte O’Byrne Cup action this weekend, as they take on Wexford in the semi-final at Parnell Park on Saturday (1.30pm).

The Boys in Blue looked set to be on the receiving end of an upset last Saturday, as Offaly led Dublin 0-6 to 0-2 at half time in their Quarter Final tie in Gracefield.
But an improved second half performance and scores from Brian O’Leary and Killian McGinnis would help turn the tide for Dublin, before Shane O’Leary added an insurance point to see Dublin through to the semi-finals.
Saturday’s opposition, Wexford, have looked impressive in this year’s O’Byrne Cup and recorded a comfortable 4-15 to 2-12 win over Wicklow in Round 1. Mark Rossiter bagged himself a brace, while Conor Kinsella and Ben Brosnan also found the net. Corner-forward Brosnan will be one Dublin must keep an eye on, as he top-scored for his side in Wexford’s competition opener.
In the quarter-finals, Wexford had no problem finding the net as they ran out 3-9 to 0-14 winners over Kildare to advance to the last four.
Cian Hughes rattled the net midway through the first-half, before Wexford pulled away from their opposition in the second half.
Brosnan found himself amongst the goalscorers again after he finished off a well-worked Wexford move, while Páraic Hughes netted Wexford’s third of the afternoon to set up Saturday’s clash with Dublin.
Wexford will be hoping to build on the fine form they’ve shown in pre-season so far in this year’s Dioralyte O’Byrne Cup and bring it into their Allianz Football League Division Four campaign, which starts at the end of the month with a trip to the English capital to take on London at McGovern Park in Ruislip.
Dublin's league campaign starts on Saturday 27th January against Monaghan at Croke Park.
