It’s a case of first versus second as Dublin host Kilkenny at Parnell Park in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship on Saturday evening.

So far in the competition, Dublin are unbeaten and after a dramatic opening day draw against Wexford, we have taken maximum points against Carlow and Antrim

That day out against Antrim saw us win by 20 points and saw three different players find the net for Micheál Donoghue's charges- Paul Crummey, Brian Hayes and Dónal Burke- as Dublin dominated proceedings.

Seán Currie and Conor Burke also had a major say in front of the posts as Dublin pulled away from the visitors in the second-half to leave us top of the pile with two group games to go.

This Saturday’s opponents provide a tougher test again.

After scoring 5-30 against Antrim on the first day of the Championship, the Cats played out a thrilling draw with Galway before being held to a draw by Carlow last weekend.

Kilkenny will be looking to get back on the winning track when they head to Dublin this Saturday.

A side that still boasts the quality of TJ Reid is always going to be dangerous and he has 1-19 to his name so far this summer.

Martin Keoghan and Cian Kenny will also be ones Dublin need to keep close tabs on, as the pair have made significant contributions in their first three games.

Derek Lyng’s side have won the last five Championship encounters with the Boys in Blue and that is a run we'd love to end on Saturday.

A top two finish is well within reach of Dublin, but they know they’ll be pushed all the way by this strong Kilkenny team this weekend.

If you can't make it to Parnell Park, the game will also be shown live on GAAGo.
