Dublin’s Senior hurlers will be looking to follow up last week's win over Westmeath with another good performance, as they take on Antrim in their second Dioralyte Walsh Cup Group 2 fixture this Sunday at Parnell Park (1.30pm).
Cian O’Sullivan racked up a mighty personal tally of 0-10, as the Dubs got off to a winning start last Thursday evening.
The first-half was a close affair, but Donal Leavy’s goal on the stroke of half-time gave Micheál Donoghue’s men breathing space at the break.
Dublin controlled the match after the restart and began to pull away from the Lake County, as Ronan Hayes played in his brother Brian, who fired home for Dublin’s second goal of the evening.
Joe Flanagan’s cameo from off the bench saw him pick up three scores for himself, as Dublin recorded a comfortable 2-31 to 1-12 win.
A win this Sunday will see Dublin win the group and into the semi-finals, where they’ll take on the winners of Group 3.
Sunday’s opposition, Antrim, are yet to feature in this year's Walsh Cup, after their fixture against Westmeath last weekend was postponed.
Antrim have won the competition once, back in 2008 when they beat Offaly. It remains their only Walsh Cup Final to date.
