Masters footballers face Kildare next in Championship

Dublin Masters footballers (Over-40s) face Kildare this Saturday at the National Sports Campus, Abbotstown (2.0, Pitch 1) in the second game of their Championship campaign.

The Dubs defeated Cork in their opening game away in Glenville last Saturday week while the Lilywhites overcame Clare at home in Allenwood.

Sixteen counties are participating in this year's competition with Dublin in Group 4 alongside Kildare, Clare and Cork.

The other groups are comprised of - Group 1: Donegal, Tyrone, Down, Antrim; Group 2: Leitrim/Longford, Cavan, Westmeath, Louth; Group 3: Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon.

The top county in each group progresses to the All-Ireland semi-final with a secondary competition for the second-placers.
