Dublin Masters footballers (Over-40s) recorded their second Championship win from two starts when defeating Kildare (9-16 to 0-6) at the National Sports Campus, Abbotstown on Saturday afternoon.
The Dubs have certainly had their shooting boots on so far as they also kept the umpires working over-time in their Group 4 opening round victory over Cork in Glenville.
Dublin's chief scorers against the Lilywhites were Warren Finnegan (4-4), Donal Ryan and Niall Crossan (1-3 each), Kevin Golden (1-1), Tommy Brennan and Cormac Smith (1-0 each).
In the other game in the group Clare saw off the challenge of Cork which leaves Dublin on top of the table (four points) with Clare and Kildare on one victory (two) ahead of Cork (0).
Dublin will conclude their round-robin pool games against Clare in two weeks' time.
The other groups are comprised of - Group 1: Donegal, Tyrone, Down, Antrim; Group 2: Leitrim/Longford, Cavan, Westmeath, Louth; Group 3: Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon.
The top county in each group progresses to the All-Ireland semi-final with a secondary competition for the second-placers.
