Dublin Senior hurlers finished off their Allianz League with a victory in O'Moore Park against Laois on Sunday afternoon.
Donal Burke continued his scoring form to date which saw him finish with a total of 0-14, 0-11 of which came from placed balls. He was assisted in the scoring department by Rian Mc Bride (0-3), Davy Keogh (0-3) and in particular from Fergal Whitely who contributed 0-7 from play in a very lively personal display.
Dublin led 0-21 to 1-12 at half time.
Mattie Kenny made a number of personnel changes from recent matches Jake Malone and Eamonn Dillon in from the start. Dillon scored his sides first goal early in the second half to ensure his side kept distance on the scoreboard.
After an altercation, Rian McBride was red carded in the 48th minute and while Laois continued to push, Dublin remained in command.
Substitute Alex Considine closed out the game with a well taken finish in injury time to seal victory.
Dublin will face Laois in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship on April 16th
