Diarmuid Connolly is shortlisted for June’s Footballer of the Month

Dublin footballer Diarmuid Connolly has been included among the GAA/GPA All-Stars, sponsored by Opel, shortlist for the June Player of the Month.

Following two outstanding displays against Laois and Meath the St Vincent’s man is a very worthy inclusion.

The winners of the GAA/GPA Opel Player of the Month Awards for June, will be chosen by the inter-county playing body, and announced this Thursday.

The players are:

Football:

Paul Conroy (Galway).

Ryan McHugh (Donegal)

Diarmuid Connolly (Dublin)

Hurling:

Jonjo Farrell (Kilkenny)

Austin Gleeson (Waterford)

Cathal Barrett (Tipperary)
