Cuala have joined a very elite group of back-to-back winners of the Tommy Moore Cup as All-Ireland Club SHC winners.
Prior to Saturday's feat by the Dalkey club it was last achieved by Galway's Portumna in 2008-2009 and only three other clubs have reached that milestone in their history - Birr (Offaly) 2002-2003, Athenry (Galway) 2000-2001 and Sarsfields (Galway) 1993-1994.
Since emerging as Dublin champions again Cuala on this campaign's successful journey beat Dicksboro (Kilkenny), St Martin’s (Wexford), Kilcormac-Killoughey (Offaly), Liam Mellows (Galway) and Na Piarsaigh (Limerick) in the final after a replay, with extra-time unable to sort the sides first time out.
