Cormac is one of the best talents I’ve seen: Ciarán Kilkenny

Ciarán Kilkenny has lauded the super-sub contribution of Cormac Costello in last Saturday's gripping All-Ireland SFC final replay victory over Mayo.

The Castleknock clubman played minor and U21 football with Cormac so knows his talent as well as any.

"He’s an unbelievable talent, only Cormac could come on and score those three points.

“He’s just a ridiculous talent, he has put in so much hard work this year, you wouldn’t believe it.

“His determination, his energy in training he has been brilliant. I’m delighted for him," says Ciarán

“I have played hurling and football with him all the way up and he’s one of the best talents I’ve seen.

“I’m delighted for him, he’s a legend now, three points in an All-Ireland final and he turned the game for us.”
