Dublin GAA Juvenile update Friday 25th June,

I attach the following juvenile fixtures:

CCC1 games for Saturday 3^rd July

CCC2 fixtures for the period Saturday 3^rd July to Thursday 8^th July

CCC1 Fixtures in July:

As per the revised Master Juvenile Fixture Calendar we will apply a staggered programme of issued fixtures for the U8 to U11 age groups in the month of July.

Saturday 3^rd July: - U8 Hurling, U10 Hurling & U12 Hurling

Saturday 10^th July: - U9 Football, U11 Football & U12 Football

Saturday 17^th July: - U8 Football, U10 Football & U12 Hurling

Saturday 24^th July: - U9 Hurling, U11 Hurling & U12 Football

If other teams organise friendly games, please make sure you apply through a club officer using the Challenge Games Request form / link.

As previously advised Clubs are now locked into the grouping as submitted for the U8 to U11 age grades. CCC1 will revisit team numbers at the end of July for the resumption of games in late August / early September.

Protocol - changing official fixture issued by CCC2

CCC2 are issuing official fixtures at least 8 days in advance confirming time of the game & assigned referee.

All fixtures must be played on or in advance of the scheduled date

Any subsequent changes once agreed by CCC2 will appear on the website

When seeking to bring a game forward you also check on referee availability

If all parties on board you email me the details and the website will be updated.

If the Referee is not available you email proposed date changes to myself , I will amend the fixture and you then seek referee replacement by emailing ccc2refadmin@dublingaa.ie

As always once an official fixture is issued by email to your club, you check the website in case the referee has been replaced.

As per regulations if no referee is sourced for your game the match proceeds

Since return to play we have had situations after fixtures have been issued, where the referee has declined a game, the committee has appointed a replacement referee and then at short notice the clubs wish to bring a game forward to an earlier day / time and the new referee is not available. Firstly, parents need plenty of advance notice when in particular the day of a game changes & secondly the committee will do its best to replace the referee but if not possible the game proceeds under regulations.

Finally, particularly on a Saturday afternoon due to a combination of pitch shortages and lack of referees, CCC2 games are being fixed for 2pm & 3.30pm. Changes to these times will not be facilitated unless the assigned referee is in agreement: - notwithstanding for example that for your 2pm game having a pitch free at 3.30pm, the game proceeds at 2pm because the referee is required elsewhere.
