We are close to full strength: Jim Gavin

Jim Gavin has declared his panel is “close to full strength” ahead of Sunday’s Leinster SFC final against Westmeath in Croke Park (2.0).

The Dublin manager said that neither Bernard Brogan nor Denis Bastick were injury concerns while Kevin O’Brien, who missed last season owing to an cruciate injury, is available.

Bernard Brogan did suffer a hand injury prior to the Leinster semi-final but his involvement was not a concern.

“Yeah that happened four weeks ago in a training game, two weeks before the Leinster semi-final so that’s an old story. He’s good to go, it happened four weeks ago so that’s not an issue,” said Jim.

Dublin’s only current absentees are Nicky Devereux, Davey Byrne (Ballymun Kickhams) and Ger Brennan.
