WALSH CUP GAME MOVED TO JANUARY 4

Dublin footballers and hurlers will both begin the new season in early January when they get their respective O'Byrne Cup and Walsh Cup tournaments underway.

The footballers face DCU Dochas Eireann in the O'Byrne Cup in Parnell Park on Sunday, January 8 (2.0) but the hurlers Walsh Cup clash against Carlow has been moved to Wednesday, January 4 (7.30) in Parnell Park.

Both Dublin county teams are in action on New Year's Day - hurling (12.30) and football (2.30) in Parnell Park - in the annual Dublin Bus/Herald Dubs Stars games.
