Volunteers needed for Laochra on April 24th

Volunteer for a once in a lifetime event

“Laochra”

On the 24th April 1916, 1,200 volunteers changed the landscape of Irish history forever.

On the 24th April 2016, the Allianz Football League Finals (Div 1 & 2) will be followed by Laochra – a must-see spectacular live event celebrating our national identity.

To commemorate the 1916 Rising, the story of Ireland’s Gaelic Games and the GAA’s incredible role in the past centenary, we will be hosting a major show in Croke Park in conjunction with the Allianz League Division One and Two Football finals. Through theatre, dance, music, song, poetry, pageantry and pyrotechnics – Croke Park will become the venue to celebrate our ancient history, the Gaelic Revival, our struggle for independence and the rise throughout the 32 counties of the Gaelic Athletic Association which embodies the vision and spirit of the Proclamation of 1916.

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and motivated volunteers to be a part of the celebration of Laochra. They will be required on the 17^th, 22^nd, 23rd and 24^th of April 2016.

Take this opportunity to be a part of one of the most spectacular events ever seen in Ireland.
