Dublin’s under-21 footballers will face Westmeath in St Loman’s, Mullingar next Wednesday night (March 1, 7.30) in the Leinster U21FC quarter-final following the midlanders victory over Meath at home on Wednesday night.
This weekend Dublin concluded their group games in the Leinster MFL.
Dublin entered an U17 team this year and following their opening day defeat to Carlow fell to Tipperary last Saturday in Parnell Park, 2-10 to 1-7.
Ciarán Archer was Dublin’s top scorer with 1-4 with the likes of Darragh Warnock, Adam Byrne and Pádraig Purcell also getting in on the scoring act while Conor Kinsella had a powerful game at centre-back.
The Dublin U17s face Wicklow this Saturday in Abbotstown (2.30).
