Ballyboden St Enda's under-16 hurlers completed the double following their football success of earlier in the season when they defeated Cuala 4-11 to 0-10 in Saturday's U16HC 'A' final at O'Toole Park.
The talented dual duo of Shane Kennedy and James Madden were the scorers-in-chief for Boden with Madden scoring 2-3 and Kennedy firing 1-5 (0-3f).
Cuala started well with early scores form Eoin Kennedy, Rory McMahon and Jack Twomey but were rocked by an 11th minute goal from Madden.
Heading towards the half-time interval Boden hit six points in-a-row to lead 1-8 to 0-4 with Kennedy (3), Madden (2) and Daniel Nugent all on target.
Five minutes into the second period Ben Kelly hit Boden's second goal and in a storming finish goals from Kennedy and Madden put the gloss on it for Ballyboden.
In the U16HC 'B' decider Isles of the Sea (Scoil Ui Chonaill/Clanna Gael Fontenoy) finished strongly to defeat Ballinteer St John's 2-13 to 1-14 in O'Toole Park.
The impressive Darragh Levins, who scored 1-7 (five frees), hit Isles of the Sea's first half goal as they led 1-6 to 0-6 at the break.
Ten minutes from time a Odhrán O'Sullivan goal ultimately proved crucial in a tight battle.
In the 'C' decider it took extra-time to separate St Sylvester's and St Peregrine's with the Malahide lads eventually prevailing 1-20 to 1-18.
Daniel Deneher was the hero for Syls with a tally of 0-13 while Colm Casey hit their only goal.
Peregrine's though contributed hugely to a great battle with Ryan Farnan, Ryan Higgins and James Divilly impressing.
