Ballyboden St Enda's won the Dublin U16FC 'A' title for the second year in-a-row when they defeated Nh Olaf 2-17 to 1-2 in Saturday's decider at Parnell Park.
Boden came strong in the second half with goals from Ben Kelly in the 37th minute and James Madden two minutes later giving them the momentum to run out convincing winners.
While St Enda's found their scoring touch up front in the second half the likes of Karl Reddy, Ryan Bradshaw, Sam Lally and Kieran Kennedy made sure there was no slippage at the back as they drove their team on at every opportunity from defence.
The holders had led 0-7 to 1-1 at half-time as Olaf's did well to contain the Boden attack with the likes of Evan Cahill, Luke Doran and Fiachra McLoughlin giving their all in defence while goalkeeper Garret Folan made some fine saves to deny Boden.
Boden shot 11 wides in the opening half but finished the half on top with two frees from the impressive Ross McGarry and the hard graft of Shane Kennedy helping their side to a three-point interval advantage.
The only goal of the opening half came in the 10th minute when Olaf's corner-forward David Pollard made a fine fetch before firing to the net.
In the U16FC 'B' final a Darragh O'Shea-inspired St Jude's outclassed Parnell's when winning 7-21 to 1-5 in Parnell Park.
From the early stages the ability of O'Shea close to goal shone brightly whether in his ball-winning ability, team play or clinical touch as Jude's held the upperhand from the first whistle.
O'Shea finished with a personal tally of 3-8 (0-2f) while Ross Dunphy, Ryan Meaney and Jack Moore contributed handsomely throughout.
Olaf's had star performers all over the park with Aaron O'Driscoll putting in a good shift at midfield while at the back Ciarn McLoughlin and the excellent Conor Gleeson stood out.
The likes of Keith Campbell, Morgan Boyd and Jack O'Reilly kept battling to the end for Parnell's.
Templeogue Synge St are Dublin U16FC 'C' champions after the overcame St Anne's 3-16 to 0-15 after extra-time.
A point from the influential Grant Perry in the final moments for St Anne's took the game to extra-time (1-11 to 0-14) but it was Synger who assumed control in the added periods.
Goals from Eoin O'Donovan (penalty) and Conor Doyle paved the way for a Synger victory while Luke O'Brien and Ryan Kenny were full of running right to the final whistle.
In the 'D' final St Sylvester's 'B' beat Na Fianna 'B' 3-12 to 1-3 in the opening tie of the four finals at Parnell Park.
