Dublin’s under-16 footballers opened their account in impressive fashion in the Gerry Reilly U16 tournament in Millbrook, Oldcastle in Meath on Sunday afternoon.
The Dubs had wind advantage in the opening half and they dominated from the off.
By the tenth minute Dublin had registered 1-2, the goal coming from Simon Murphy goal.
At half-time Jason Sherlock’s side were 1-8 to 0-2clear.
A free by Joe Leech and goals from Seán Guiden and Conor Chawke pushed Dublin out of sight.
Dublin’s Seán Foran was presented with the Respa ‘Man of the match’ award by Malachy Gibney (Oldcastle GFC).
