U16 footballers face Wicklow in Reilly Tournament opener

Dublin's under-16 footballers get their Gerry Reilly U16 Football Tournament campaign underway this Saturday when they face Wicklow.

The young Dubs were due to face Antrim already but that was deferred so now their opener is against the Garden County in Joule Park, Aughrim on Saturday (10.30).

Dublin will then play their rescheduled game with Antrim on Monday night in the Louth Centre of Excellence, Darver (7.30).

Dublin's grouping (Group B) is completed by Down.

Eighteen teams are participating this year with Kildare entering two sides (in Group A and D).

The top two teams in each Group advance to the Cup quarter-finals with the next two progressing to the last-eight of the Shield.
