Tullaroan hold off St Vincent’s in Leinster Final

St Vincent's battled to the finished but were defeated by Kilkenny's Tullaroan in Sunday's Leinster Club SHL Division 1 Final at O'Moore Park, Portlaoise.

Vinnies, despite a lot of possession, failed to turn territory into scores in the opening half when backed by the wind and trailed 1-3 to 1-8 at the break with Tomás McGrane grabbing their goal.

Former Dublin senior McGrane added a second goal after the break and finished with a personal tally of 2-6 while subs Kevin McMahon, who hit the other St Vincent's goal, and John Hetherton made good contributions off the bench as Tullaroan ran out 1-17 to 3-8 victors.
