Following on from last weekend's triumphant win over Meath in the U21 All Ireland final, Dublin boss Gregory McGonigle has handed three of his U21 stars their TG4 Leinster senior championship debuts this Sunday versus Kildare.
U21 duo Molly Lamb and Sarah McCaffrey will renew their midfield partnership this time at senior level while Carla Rowe who picked up the Player of the Match award in the U21 final will make her senior championship entrance at right half forward.
Remarkably Rowe, McCaffrey and Lamb each picked up their third All Ireland medal last Sunday having won minor in 2012 and U16 in 2010.
In total Dublin has made a total of four changes to their starting 15 that lost out to Cork in the Tesco Homegrown NFL final, back in May.
Siobhan McGrath and Denise Masterson are both ruled out of contention due to hand injuries while skipper Sinead Goldrick is said to be recovering well from a knee injury which she picked up in training. Two times All Star, McGoldrick could still play a part in Sunday's game if called upon and is listed amongst the subs.
The fourth change sees Niamh McEvoy named amongst the Dublin substitutes indeed Dublin's bench is quite formidable as 7 of the listed subs all started in the U21 All Ireland final versus Meath while, Natalia Hyland, Olivia Leonard and Niamh Collins are seasoned championship footballers.
Wexford's, Mags Doherty takes charge of the game in Johnstownbridge on Sunday with throw in time down as 2pm.
Dublin LGFA will have LIVE updates from the game available via their Twitter account @dublinladiesg and Declan Drake of FM104 will also broadcast live updates.
