Details have been confirmed for Dublin’s opening round fixture of the 2025 TG4 Leinster Senior football championship.

Reigning champions Dublin will get their Leinster championship campaign underway way with an away fixture versus rivals Meath on Easter Saturday April 19th.

Páirc Tailteann has been announced as the venue for this eagerly awaited championship contest with the throw in time set for 14:00pm.

The Royals last won the senior provincial title back in 2000. They are looking to bridge a 25-year gap. Earlier this year Meath captain, Monica McGuirk stated “One of our main focuses has to be - and is this year - a Leinster title. Because again it’s one of the medals that still isn’t there yet for a lot of girls. It’s something that we want to drive on to try and get,”.

This latest clash between these two great Leinster rivals has all the makings of another classic encounter and one not to be missed.
