Dublin under-17 football manager, Frank McNamee, knows his side face a serious test in Wednesday night's Leinster U17FC first round clash in Pairc Tailteann, Navan (7.0)
“Meath away from home are a formidable outfit and the fact the game is been played in Navan gives them a bit of an advantage.
“Our preparations have been going well and the lads are really looking forward at getting the championship up and running," says Frank.
There is a back-door qualifier route for the losers of Wednesday's Navan duel.
Four of the U17 panel, including forwards Ciaran Archer (pictured) and Adam Byrne, are also members of the Dublin minor squad who face Kildare in their Leinster MFC semi-final in Newbridge on Wednesday, July 5.
