Skerries Harps Footballers take GOLD in All Ireland Regional Féil Peil na nÓg

Skerries Harps Under 14 footballers, sponsored by Luke Moriarty’s SuperValu, took the honours in their Regional Féile Peil na nÓg with a wonderful display of skill, stamina and honest effort played in true Féile spirit at the impressive Tyrone GAA facility at Garvaghey.

The eight teams participating in the group included teams from Donegal, Tyrone, Derry, Down, Antrim and Meath. Skerries Harps successfully overcame the challenges of Bredagh from Co Down, Naomh Conaill from Donegal and Ballinascreen from Derry to qualify for an All-Leinster final with Walterstown, Co. Meath. In a tight game, the Dublin lads came from three points behind with ten minutes to go to record an impressive win and take the honours in a memorable day for the boys from North County Dublin.
