Six changes to senior footballers starting team for Down duel

Dublin senior footballers make six changes for Saturday night's NFL Division 1 duel with Down in Páirc Esler, Newry (7.0).

Stephen Cluxton returns between the posts after being replaced by Michael Savage for last Saturday's dramatic victory over Cork (2-14 to 2-10).

In defence Mick Fitzsimons and John Small are handed starts.

At midfield Shane Carthy (Nh Mearnóg) will partner Brian Fenton while up front Kevin McManamon and Dean Rock are named on the inside forward line alongside Cormac Costello.
