A very successful Dublin Scór Sinsir final was held on 9th March at O’Dwyer’s GAA, Balbriggan.
Máistreas na gCeisteanna duties were performed by Aoife Ní Laoire (Raheny GAA) and the role of Bean an Tí was performed by Aisling Gibbons Duff (O’Dwyer’s). Both did a wonderful job.
To open the proceedings Sarah Hughes (C.L.G. Cumann Uí Dhuibhir) sang Amhrán na bhFiann to an appreciative crowd.
Coiste Scór Átha Cliath would like to thank our moltóir Orla Brannigan who performed a great, albeit difficult, job in selecting the winners.
Our thanks to all at O’Dwyer’s GAA for making their facilities available.
Thanks also to the supporters and interested onlookers who dropped in to see what was going on, many of whom stayed the full duration.
Níos tábhachtaí fós, ár mbuíochas ó chroí leis na hiomaitheoirí a ghlac páirt sna comórtais. Bí cinnte go bhfuil do chlub agus do chontae bródúil asat.
County medals were presented by Cathaoirleach Choiste Scór Átha Cliath Liam Ó Culbáird who commented go raibh sé an-sásta leis an mhéid Gaeilge a bhí sna comórtais agus a bhí in úsáid i measc na tacadóirí, go háirithe toisc go rabhamar i lár Seachtain na Gaeilge.
Dublin GAA will be represented at the highest level as we enter the Leinster competitions.
