Round-up: Boden and Jude’s maintain winning streak (SFC1)

Ballyboden St Enda's concluded their round- robin games with another high-scoring victory when overcoming Whitehall Colmcille by 4-22 to 1-10 in their Dublin SFC1 Group 3 encounter at O'Toole Park on Saturday.

The Dublin and Leinster holders from last year tallied a massive 13-53 over their three group games with their over successes against Clontarf (4-20 to 2-8) and second-placed St Vincent's (5-11 to 1-17) to top their group with a 100 per cent record and a points difference of +45.

Colm Basquel scored 1-6 for Ballyboden St Enda’s on Saturday with Conal Keaney, Brian Bobbett and Tom Hayes also grabbing goals.

In SFC1 Group 1 Skerries Harps booked their second qualification spot, behind Ballymun Kickhams, when defeating Round Towers Lusk, 3-15 to 2-10, in Garristown on Saturday.

There victory came despite a poor start with early goals from Chris Tonge and Liam Bohan, who finished with 1-5 (0-5f), giving the Lusk side a great start.

Harry Dawson, who tallied 1-3 overall, goaled in the 25th minute to edge Harps in front and by the break they led 2-8 to 2-4 with Stephen Smith, Killian McGinnis and Ciarán Murphy also on the scoresheet.

Ciarán Murphy, who got Skerries' other first-half goal, hit his second with just over ten minutes remaining while Stephen Smith brought his personal tally to 0-7 (0-3f).

St Jude's are another of the quarter-finalists who emerged from their group (Group 2) with a success rate of three wins from three starts when overcoming Lucan Sarsfields 2-10 to 2-8 at O'Toole Park.

Pádraic Clarke's first-half goal helped his side to a 1-5 to 0-5 interval lead with Niall Coakley converting three frees. In the second period Dara Kavanagh grabbed Jude's second goal.

Two goals from the in-form Aaron Byrne saw Na Fianna book their spot in the last-eight when defeating Ballinteer St John's 2-10 to 0-8 on Saturday in Balgriffin.
