Ballyboughal will face Meath's Curragha in the Leinster IFC semi-final this weekend after overcoming Laois' Emo, 1-12 to 0-13, in their quarter-final replay last Saturday in Ballyboughal.
Emo led 0-7 to 0-4 at the break with Gerry Seaver to the fore for the north county Dubs, however, the Laois men were in the driving seat thanks to scores from David Gorman, Darren Strong, Paul Lawlor and Evan Costello.
There was little to separate the sides in the second half but Martin Provitaz's goal five minutes from time proved to be the winning score and see his side progress to the provincial last-four.
Seaver, finished the game with a tally of eight points, with the likes of Jamie Flynn, John Rodgers, Jono Rooney and Ciarán Wynne also getting on the scoreboard for the winners who will enjoy home advantage for their semi-final.
