Dublin senior camogie manager David Herity has named his starting team to face Clare this Saturday afternoon in their opening All-Ireland Championship clash against Clare in Parnell's club, Coolock (2.30).
It’s Herity’s first year in charge and the squad has made rapid improvement under his stewardship with the teams performances improving from game to game.
Dublin are in a tough group that not only includes Saturday’s opponents but also Galway, Waterford and reigning All Ireland champions Kilkenny.
With that in mind if the girls in blue are to qualify for the knockout stages of the championship then they will have to take full advantage of their opening two fixtures which are both at home, starting this Saturday against Clare and the following weekend against Galway.
