On Saturday morning at 18 different locations across Dublin County the Dublin 2025 Camogie Feile will throw in. Feile which translates into ‘celebration’ is divided into 10 divisions (74 teams) which will allow girls who are born in 2010 an younger to test their skills against their peers.
Over the last few months great work, both on and off the pitch, has been undertaken by coaches, players, parents and fundraising committees to ensure that the teams are prepared as best as they can in order to proudly represent their club’s this weekend.
While Feile is a great occasion, there obviously will be a competitive nature to the games. In 2024 the 2009 Faughs Celtic girls claimed the Division 1 title and went on to represent Dublin in the National Feile. Faughs Celtic 2010 girls are back in Division 1 this year and will no doubt be tested hard in their group which will be hosted by Lucan Sarsfields, who no doubt will have their own eye on the crown.
