Laois manager Tom O“ Flatharta's says his team are in a positive frame of mind ahead of Sunday's Leinster SFC quarter-final against Dublin in Croke Park (4.0).
The O'Moore County have the advantage of a championship game under their belt having beaten Wicklow in Aughrim.
"Our attitude however is very positive and we have prepared very well in training and have organised ourselves with positive attitude and we are looking to build on the win over Wicklow."
"We scored 21 points against Wicklow in Aughrim and that win has given us confidence."
"It is also indeed the monkey off the back in some way with the first Leinster Championship win in three years and the win in Aughrim for the first time since 1986. Our score against Wicklow was very good and our plans went well", said Toms.
"Looking ahead to Sunday's duel the Kerry native says 'no team is unbeatable".
"Dublin have very talented forwards and indeed all over their team. They are Leinster, All-Ireland and league champions and are very well organised with many great players."
"However, no team is unbeatable and we are trusting in our players and believe in our players that we can put in a performance next Sunday with the ultimate purpose to win the game, adds the former Kilmacud Crokes footballer."
"The odds are stacked against us going into this game against Dublin, but our lads will be up for the challenge."
"It is all about belief, it is a new game and the lads know they have done a huge amount of work this year so that will stand to them when they set foot on Croke Park next Sunday."
"Our game is based on attack when we have the ball but when we don't the lads have to roll up their sleeves and work really hard to defend. That goes from corner-forwards back and with that discipline we can make it difficult for Dublin."
"We have an expectation and purpose going into the game and there is great belief and hunger among the players. We are looking forward to the challenge", concluded the Laois boss.
