Minor hurlers lose narrowly to Laois

Dublin’s minor hurlers were defeated 2-12 to 1-3 by Laois in last Saturday’s opening game in the Leinster MHL away at Heywood Community School.

The Dubs have entered a ‘B’ selection in the competition and this Saturday host Antrim.

Dublin’s scorer-in-chief was Craobh Chiaráin’s Cian Derwin, who tallied 0-10 (0-7f).

Kevin Kirwan scored Dublin’s goal in the second-half while Kevin Desmond added two points.
