Minor hurlers handed tough draw in All-Ireland MHC quarter-final

Dublin's minor hurlers have been pitted against the losing Munster MHC finalists, either Limerick or Waterford, in their Electric Ireland All-Ireland MHC quarter-final.

Both Waterford and Limerick were considered among the pre-championship favourites, so Pat Fanning's side will face a very stiff test.

• Gaillimh v Ulster Champions (Aontroim/Doire)
• Ath Cliath v Munster Runners Up (Luimneach/Port Láirge)

In accordance with rule, the semi-final pairings will therefore be as follows:

If Áth Cliath beat Munster runners up:

• Munster Champions v Áth Cliath
• Leinster Champions (Cill Chainningh) v Gaillimh/Aontroim/Doire

If Munster runners up beat Áth Cliath:

• Munster Champions v Gaillimh/Aontroim/Doire
• Leinster Champions (Cill Chainningh) v Munster Runners-Up
