Dublin minor footballers face Meath in this Saturday’s Leinster MFC first round in Parnell Park (3.0).
The Royals defeated Dublin in last year’s provincial championship but both sides will feature mostly ‘new faces’.
“Meath are a tough start for any team to have but having them first up has helped focus the minds somewhat,” says Dublin manager Tom Gray.
“We have played them a fair bit down the years in various competitions and we would be familiar enough with them.
“We have a relatively new panel this year and a few small injuries here and there so it’s important that we start well and settle into the game as quickly as we possibly can,” adds Tom.
Ross McGarry, Darragh Conlon, James Madden, James Doran, David Lacey, Donal Ryan and Luke Doran are eligible again this year having been part of last year’s minor championship panel.
