Dublin ladies senior football manager, Gregory McGonigle, wants his players to play Sunday's All-Ireland SFC final against Cork on its merits rather than getting caught up in the occasion of the biggest day in the intercounty calendar.
"This is where we wanted to be at the start of the year. But we have talked about Sunday and we don't want to be in a situation where we are enjoying the occasion too much," says Gregory.
"The thing is not to dwell on the trappings of the day. Our aim will be to get out there and play the best we can.
"It's about winning a football match. The occasion is more for families and stuff. It's when you have hung up the boots that you can look back on such days," he adds.
"We have had a good championship. We beat a fine Kerry team in the quarter-final, and they were in the All-Ireland final in 2012. Then we got over Galway in the semi-final.
"Cork will be a difficult task. But to be winning All-Irelands you want to be beating the best teams in the country. The league final (against Cork) ebbed and flowed both ways. Our earlier draw with them in the league was the same. They was nothing between us but hopefully now we'll come out on the right side of the result."
Dublin forward Lynsey Davey has called on Dublin supporters to get behind their team by coming out in big numbers for Sunday's decider in Croke Park (4.0).
"The game is in Croke Park. The Dubs don't have to travel so hopefully they'll come out in their droves to support us."
