McCarthy ruled out of Longford duel

James McCarthy has been ruled out of Sunday’s Leinster SFC quarter-final against Longford in Croke Park (4.0).

The flying wing-back picked up a foot injury in Dublin’s recent challenge victory over Clare in Miltown Malbay.

His defensive colleague Rory O’Carroll is also an injury concern.

Dublin will name their team on Friday night.
