Dublin Masters footballers (Over-40s) conclude their group games when they travel to face Clare in Clarecastle this Saturday (2.30).
The Dubs have recorded two wins from two games in Group 4 so a draw against the Banner County would see them top the group and take their place in Monday's All-Ireland semi-final draw.
Dublin defeated Kildare in their last game, 9-16 to 0-6, at the National Sports Campus in Abbotstown, this came following their opening round victory over Cork in Glenville.
Dublin's chief scorers against the Lilywhites were Warren Finnegan (4-4), Donal Ryan and Niall Crossan (1-3 each), Kevin Golden (1-1), Tommy Brennan and Cormac Smith (1-0 each).
After losing their opening game to Kildare, Clare defeated Cork in their last game,
The other groups are comprised of - Group 1: Donegal, Tyrone, Down, Antrim; Group 2: Leitrim/Longford, Cavan, Westmeath, Louth; Group 3: Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon.
The top county in each group progresses to the All-Ireland semi-final with a secondary competition for the second-placers.
