LUCAN SARSFIELDS 0-24 O'TOOLE'S 1-21 (After extra-time)

A Kevin O'Reilly free two minutes from time in extra-time saw Lucan force a replay of this thrilling Dublin SHC 'A' quarter-final on Wednesday night.

The sides must meet against at the Donnycarney venue this Sunday afternoon (2.30) in the curtain-raiser to the semi-final clash of Cuala and Ballyboden St Enda's (4.0).

The Larriers looked to be headed for victory until O'Reilly converted his ninth free of the night to add to his two successful '65s' and two brilliant sideline cuts.

It was O'Toole's, however, who had forced the game into extra-time when Niall Arthur blasted a late, late penalty to the net just when Sarsfields looked set for victory.

In normal time Lucan led most of the match with O'Reilly's deadball accuracy to the fore.

Points from Johnny McCaffrey, Eoghan O Conghaile, O'Reilly free, Seán McClelland and Alan Kelly had Lucan in charge but O'Toole's kept in touch primarily through the deadball accuracy of the Arthurs and Conor Carton.

At the break in normal time Lucan led 0-12 to 0-10 and were hanging on for victory when Niall Arthur struck his late penalty to bring this high-scoring tussle to extra-time.
