Dublin G.A.A. club Fingallians won the Leinster section of the 'Turas
Teanga' competition that was organised by the GAA and Glór na nGael. This
is a competition to give recognition to the clubs doing the most to promote
the Irish language. Na Gaeil Óga won the Dublin County prize.
There were seven sections in the competition: Leinster, Ulster, Munster,
Connacht, Gaeltacht regions, international and an overall winner. There was
also prizes for individual county winners.
Fingallians and Na Gaeil Óga were presented with their prizes in Croke Park
on 26th April by Pat Carey (Cathaoirleach Ghlór na nGael) and Aogán Ó
Fearghail (Uachtarán C.L.G.)
These wins are an honour for everybody in Dublin G.A.A. working ar son an
