Launch of the 2015 Dublin Senior Football & Hurling Championships

Dublin GAA today held our Official Launch of the 2015 Senior Football and Hurling Championships in Parnell Park. With both championships due to begin in the coming weeks some of the club games top players were on hand to help promote two of the most competitive championship’s in the country.

Seán Shanley, Chairman, Dublin GAA:“Dublin GAA are delighted to launch our club championships and look forward to another season of high quality games. The passion, pride and ambition that drives each club to achieve success in championship is a benchmark of the GAA. We appreciate the effort of all club teams and players and believe it is our responsibility to promote these games and competitions”.

The Official Dublin Senior Championship hashtag #ClubComesFirst was unveiled today. keep an eye out on DubsTV for footage relating to the club championships in the coming weeks which will include match highlights.

The hurling championships begin on Thursday 23^rd of April with the first round robin group games. The football championship commeces on Wednesday the 6^th of May with the 1^st round.
